Technical Sales Specialist – Transplant & Transfusion Diagnostics

The Netherlands (& Flanders) - Home based - fulltime

General purpose of the job:
Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close, of both the Transplant and Transfusion Diagnostic products/technologies. You will identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and increase customers’ satisfaction.

Main responsibilities as a Technical Sales Specialist:
o Responsible for the commercial results of the assigned territory (responsibility for minimum yearly revenues and profitability agreed with the Sales Manager FraBeNeLux as well as price and discounting strategies)
o Serve as a first-line source of technical information and support for Transplant product/technologies, working with Sr. Director, International Commercial Scientific Affairs, Transplant; work closely with FraBeNeLux Technical Support team for Transfusion product/technology related problems
o Collect, analyse market feedback and transfer to relevant parts of the organization (marketing, R&D, etc.)
o Guarantee customer satisfaction and retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer
o Perform all work activities in compliance with Company policies and Code of Conduct, local procedures and regulations

The ideal candidate will have:

Education & experience:
• Scientific degree, possibly Master and knowledge in HLA
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in HLA laboratories
• Work experience in troubleshooting instrument/product issues independently
• Fluency in Dutch; professional knowledge of English

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to travel mainly within Belgium, occasionally, internationally

• Prior experience in the area of Transplant sales
• Experience providing training, service and support to external customers
• Experience assisting internal and external customers in product investigation / complaints, to ensure customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance and problem resolution
